I understand that having a photographer in the room during the most intense and precious day of your life can seem a bit scary. I do everything possible to make you feel comfortable!!
Documentary photography of labor and delivery captures your story in a way that only the heart can remember. These timeless memories of the most important days of your life deserve the care and detail that only a professional can provide. Having a dedicated professional photographer to capture this important day frees your partner or support person to focus on you and the experience of labor and birth; it also allows partners to be in the images and not behind the camera.
What if I’m having a Cesarean?
Every birth experience is authentic, beautiful and worth remembering. Not all hospitals will allow photographers in the operating room, however there are many special details of your day I am able to capture, including the excitement and nervousness leading up the birth, and moments following it while in recovery.
