Do you offer payment plans?
We do offer a six month payment plan with a 20% non refundable deposit. Due to the custom nature of portraiture, items will not begin production until complete payment is received.
Will I be able to print my images?
Absolutely! My primary goal is to help you achieve beautiful, custom artwork that can be enjoyed every single day. What is better than to come down the stairs each morning and see your family portraits above your mantel on a stunning gallery wrapped canvas? I offer the highest quality printed products for my clients, as well as digital files should you choose to print elsewhere.
Do you use props?
Yes, I do! Although outdoor sessions typically require minimal props, I have developed quite a collection! Newborn sessions in particular rely heavily on posing and prop usage. With either type of session, studio or outdoor, feel free to bring along a special item that you want to include in your portrait session. We can discuss this in our initial consultation.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR PRINTED PRODUCTS?
Canvases, large prints, cards, and heirloom books are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks of your final selection and ordering. Once I’ve received your order from the lab, I inspect every inch to ensure it’s perfect. Once I’ve confirmed this, your order will be beautifully packaged and either carefully shipped to you or hand delivered when feasible.
CAN I POST OUR PHOTOS TO FACEBOOK?
Absolutely! Keep an eye on our Facebook page to see sneak peeks from your photo session, and feel free to share and tag your friends!
Im shy, will the session be awkward?
You may feel you don’t know what to do or how to pose in front of the camera and that is totally normal! Don’t worry! Unless you are a super model, no one does! The great thing about my family sessions is you get to be yourself with your family. You get to pretend like I’m not even there for most of the session. For the traditional posed portraits, I will show you the best “go to” poses that suit your shape, I will ensure we have a good laugh and make it fun! It’s my job to make you feel relaxed and at ease so we can capture you in the best light possible.
Do you edit and enhance our photos?
Yes, I do. I edit them using professional grade photo editing software. I will choose the best of the best from your photos and perform subtle, professional editing, transforming the images into works of art.
What if the weather is bad on the day of our shoot?
We all know how unpredictable Illinois weather can be! In instances when inclement weather makes an outdoor shoot either unsafe or undesirable, I will contact you ASAP to postpone and choose another date, to be held within two weeks of the original date.
